He was a great inspiration for me. Not until a few years ago I realised that so much of what I find interesting to photograph, to study or to create was heavily influenced by my grandfarther.
He encouraged me to observe and paint what I saw.
He photographed beatles, spiders and the woods.
He painted with chinese ink, carved animals and faces in wood and walked and worked in the forest.
His darkroom was a place of mystery and awe to me and when he died I felt I had a puzzle to solve.
